My Story

I'm a family man. I live at home with my amazing partner and our two wonderful kids. Away from the camera I can usually be found spending time with the family, usually doing something active, like hill walking. Or kicking a ball about on a golf course, playing FootGolf On The FootGolf Association of Scotland National Tour.

The name Fortitude means a lot to me and it matches my "never say die" attitude. At birth, I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and I've overcame all the odds to get to where I am in my life, today! 

Since getting my photography diploma, I followed the path of Media and Sports Photography. I moved to Liverpool after graduating having landing a staff role for a National Agency. I've been fortunate to travel the globe shooting for UK Publications.

Now the main focus is weddings. My ability to shoot photography and videography is a unique state to be in.

Due to my background and experience, I would say I would be suited to the documentary style of shooting. I believe in capturing natural moments of your wedding, by blending into the background, allowing you to enjoy your wedding, without being away shooting for an hour or so. Your wedding should be on your terms, not the photographers!
